Exeter Airport offers flights to the Greek island of Corfu from May through to October.
As per Most Greek resorts the weather is very favourable during the summer months. During the winter months, the average temperature starts from 10ºC through to the typical Greek summers with a temperature average getting to 31ºC but the temperature can get into the low 40’sºC with the water temperature getting as high as 26ºC during the summer. Perfect weather to sit back and relax on one of the many beaches on Corfu.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that Corfu is just a great beach or diving location though as there many cultural places to visit. One of the main attractions however has to be the Archaeological Museum which houses the Gorgon Pediment from the Artemis temple in the Ancient city Korkyra. The New York times described it as the “finest example of archaic temple sculpture extant.” There are also many other museums to visit and one the Museum of Asian art of Corfu houses a collection showing the influence of Alexander the Great on Buddhist culture.
The Old Fortress sits overlooking Corfu and was built in the 15th century by the Venetians to protect the town from pirates and other enemies and must be seen.

If you travel to the Northern part of the island near to the village of Sidari you will see the famous Canal d’Amour where the rocks form different coves and canals.
Corfu is studded with more than 50 recognised beaches where you can relax and soak up the sun whilst looking out on to the Mediterranean or Ionian Sea and watch the world slowly sail on by and when the sun goes down you have many restaurants and bars to visit throughout the evening and into the night.
