  Make a splash at one of the many water parks that are dotted around Tenerife or perhaps take a guided tour to the Pico Viejo Volcano and travel through the country about it and discover its alien looking beauty.

  Visit the Museo de la Naturaleza y El Hombre in Santa Cruz, which houses many great objects during the history of Tenerife. It also houses some significant botanical and planetological collections including Guanche Mummies.

  No visit to Tenerife would be complete without trying the local food and drink and this can be done in the numerous restaurants where all tastes of cuisine are catered for, ranging from traditional through to Japanese.
