Canadian Affair, the UK’s largest tour operator to Canada, has announced that it will offer weekly flights to Toronto from Exeter for its seventeenth year and operate a service every Wednesday from 19 May until 29 September with prices from £129 one-way.
Exeter Airport’s Managing Director, Jamie Christon said; “The confirmation that Canadian Affair will continue these flights is wonderful news for the airport and the travellers of the region who have expressed a great deal of interest in the route for 2010. The seventeenth year with Air Transat takes our total for the Toronto link to twenty two and this clearly demonstrates that Exeter can support a long haul route. We are looking forward to the familiar sight of the A310 aircraft’s return next summer and seeing our South West passengers jetting off to a breathtaking part of the world.”
Flights will be operated by an Air Transat wide-bodied Airbus A310 aircraft. Passengers will have choice of two classes, with a generous seat pitch of 32 inches in Economy Class along with luxury leather seats, complimentary meals, soft drinks, and a hold baggage allowance of 20kgs. Passengers can also upgrade to Club Class and enjoy a host of benefits such as greater legroom, extra wide seats, a four-course meal with choice of wines, a complimentary bar service, dedicated check-in, increased baggage allowances.
