In a deal struck with holiday giant Thomas Cook, Exeter Airport will add Antalya to its list of sun destinations for 2010.
This new route, the third announced in the space of a week, will start flying from May 2010.
Commenting on the route, Jamie Christon, Exeter Airport’s Managing Director said: “We are delighted to add Antalya to our list of destinations. Antalya is another non-Euro route and I am sure it will be well supported. With our customers looking for value for money, holidaying outside the EU has never been so popular. The list of sun destinations from Exeter has never been as strong and I am sure that 2010 will be a great year for the airport.”
The announcement comes after the airport recently added Sharm el Sheikh and Hannover to its list of destinations and following those of Monastir and Fuerteventura. Thomas Cook will be maintaining their long standing Palma services and have also added a weekly flight to Dalaman starting from April 2010.
