PASSENGER ALERT: B3184 – Overnight road closure
Devon Highways will be carrying out overnight patching works and bridge point seal works on the B3184 road past Exeter Airport
Works schedule:
Work will take place in two sections to grant access to Exeter Airport at all times. The section where the works are taking place will be closed from 8pm to 7am.
- Tuesday 1st – Wednesday 2nd September: From Clyst Honiton Roundabout to the junction with Long Lane.
- Wednesday 2nd – Saturday 5th September: From Long Lane junction to Marwood Lane junction.
Access to the airport will be maintained at all times. Gatemen will be on site to assist road users with any access queries. A signed diversion route is in place to guide road users to the opposite end of the works area.

Car Parking bookings for stays commencing from 1 April 2027 onwards are not yet available due to a delay in the release of bookings.

BE TRAVEL AWARE…..CHECK YOUR PASSPORT’S VALIDITY!
Please make sure that prior to travel you:
- Check GOV.UK Travel Advice pages for the countries you plan to visit and find out what the entry requirements are
- Check that everyone’s passport is valid according to the entry requirements
- Pay attention to children’s passport validity—they expire after five years!

Hand Luggage – liquids & large electrical items.
There are currently no changes to the rules regarding liquids and large electrical items in hand luggage. When preparing for security screening at Exeter Airport, please follow the existing guidelines: Liquids must be in containers of 100ml or less and placed in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag (one per passenger), with a capacity of no more than 1 litre and dimensions of approximately 20cm x 20cm (8in x 8in). All liquids and large electrical items (e.g., laptops) must be removed from hand luggage and presented separately for screening.
