Exeter Airport has played host to Chinese delegates who were representatives from a huge investment syndicate looking to identify major projects in South West England.
Speaking on behalf of the Devon & Cornwall Business Council, Tim Jones said: “We were extremely fortunate to have secured a visit for this very important Chinese delegation. Matt Roach of Exeter Airport and his team were able to lay on the red carpet treatment for the potential investors in the region and they were able to see the important business connectivity role that the airport can play.
“With the three times a day flight schedule later this year to London City airport, operated by the Exeter-based airline Flybe, the South West peninsula will have its best ever links to the heart of the capital with wonderful worldwide business opportunities.”
