    What happens after I have made my booking?

    • You will receive an on-screen confirmation which details your booking reference and instructions.
    • Please read these carefully and print the page for your records as you will need this information at the airport.
    • A booking confirmation email will also be sent.
    • Please ensure that your vehicle registration details are correct as this is used to give you access to the car park.
    • There is an option to amend your booking if you will be arriving at the airport in a different vehicle than originally planned (see below).
    • You are responsible for supplying a valid email and we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of booking confirmation emails due to transmission failure or incorrect address details. Failure to receive the confirmation email has no bearing on the status of your booking. The booking is valid but please check your email junk or spam folder.

    How do I AMEND my booking?

    Amendments may be made up to 24 hours before the booking commences by logging in to your account with the password received when the booking was made.

    Amendments to the dates of stay are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Certain promotional products cannot be amended, it will be made clear at the point of booking if this is the case. Please note if you booked during a sale or at a lower price and that rate is no longer available, the new rate will apply. Where specified in the product details some special offer bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.

    How do I CANCEL my car park booking?

    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled car park arrival time/date. Cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of your booking. Where specified in the product details some special offer bookings cannot be amended or cancelled.

    Bookings made less than 24 hours before departure cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.

    What should I do if my booking reference is not recognised.

    If you are trying to amend or cancel your booking online via prebook.exeter-airport.co.uk and your booking reference is not recognised, it is likely that the booking has been made through a third-party site.
    If you have NOT BOOKED DIRECTLY with Exeter Airport and used one of the sales agents (eg Holiday Extras) please contact them directly.

    Can I make a booking TODAY and park at the airport today?

    Bookings can be made up to 2 hours prior to your arrival time at the airport. All Car Park bookings are subject to availability we reserve the right to withdraw availability at its entire discretion for a given date.

    What if I return later than the date/time on the booking?

    You will be charged for the additional days in which you stay in the car park, based on the overstay rate applicable to the car park and Airport.  For further details of these Overstay charges please refer to the terms and conditions on your booking confirmation or to ‘Section 6. Car Park Conditions of Use’ in the car parking terms and conditions on the Airport website. Overstay charges are only applicable if you leave the car park 6 hours after the departure date and time entered at time of booking.

    If you are on the Isles of Scilly flight and the flight has been cancelled your booking will remain valid and you will not incur any additional charges.

  • Special Assistance (Disability Parking)

    Long Stay
    • Blue Badge parking bays are available in Car Parks P1 & P2.
    • To pre-book your parking visit our official website. There is no need to specify that you require Blue Badge parking when booking.  When you arrive, please park in any allocated parking bay for Blue Badge Holders.
    • Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) who have booked Special Assistance with the airline may book Car Park P3 but on the day of travel attend Car Park P1 or P2.
    • At car park P1 & P2 entry barriers, passengers who have booked Special Assistance with the airline should use the intercom call button to request a Reduced Mobility (PRM) disability parking bay and Special Assistance to the terminal.

     

    Short Stay
    • Blue Badge holders and drivers collecting Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) should drop off/pick up in Car Park P1.
    • Drivers without a Blue Badge who are collecting passengers with reduced mobility may move their vehicle to the disability bays in Car Park P1 when the aircraft has ‘landed’.
    • If the driver is unable to use the call button the Car Park Customer Service staff (Car Park 2) will assist: Please call either 01392 365227 or 07812 471444.
    • If you’re dropping friends, colleagues or loved ones at the airport then please use the Blue Badge holders spaces in Car Parks 1 & 2.  You can stay for up to 4 hours for just the current 30-minute rate. To validate your ticket, please contact the car parking team using the intercom on the pay on foot machine in car park 1, to receive the 30 min rate please ensure you have your Blue badge with you.
  • Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures

    • If you’re dropping friends, colleagues or loved ones at the airport or picking them up, you can park for up to 30 mins for £5, allowing you time to wave them off or greet them on return. Please see below ‘Car Park tariff (not booked)’ for parking charges over 30 minutes.
    • Car Park P1 has drop-off and pick-up bays opposite the Main Terminal.
      Please use card payment machine at the Exit Barrier or other payment methods at the Pay Stations or Car Park Customer Service Office (P2).
    • Blue Badge holders and drivers collecting Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) may drop-off or pick-up in Car Park P1 and pick-up in Car Park P2 to collect passengers from Arrivals 2. 
    • Stopping is not permitted on airport terminal approach roads. Airport Bylaw 4 (6)
    • The CAA monitors UK airport fees and charges and their analysis includes comparisons for Pick-up & Drop-off.
  • Car Parking Procedures

    Departing Drivers Information: •        Follow signs for the appropriate Car Park (See map) and wait at the barrier. •        The automatic number plate recognition (APNR) system will read the car registration at the entry barrier. •        The barrier will lift, allowing entry. If the number plate is not recognised, please use the ‘call button’. Do not press for ticket. •        The car parking ticket issued may be required on exit. •        Drivers should only use the marked parking bays. Returning Drivers Information: •        Return to the car. •        Drive to the exit where the automatic number plate recognition (APNR) system will read the car registration and the barrier will lift to allow exit. •        If the number plate is not recognised or for any other issues please use the ‘call button’.   • Large Vehicle Parking

    There are no vehicle height restrictions at the car park entrances and exits. Vehicle width restrictions are limited to our standard space size of 2.4m x 4.8m. Drivers of large and long wheelbase vehicles may use the car parks, but are advised that if their vehicle restricts the use of other car parking bays, the airport reserves the right to charge for the extra space. Please see terms and conditions: 7.5 The driver must park in the marked bays provided. 7.11 We reserve the right to charge an excess fee for any vehicles using more than one car parking space at the rate of the current roll-up rate per stay day.

  • Red Arrows / Historic Aircraft Visits

    From time to time Exeter Airport hosts the RAF Red Arrows display team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and other aircraft of interest. When the airport has confirmation of movements the approximate times are posted in the information section of the Flight Arrivals and Departures page (under today’s flights).

    Parking for viewing is only permitted in Car Park P4  at a special discounted rate: £5 for up to 4 hours.  If paying by  card please do so at the Car Park P4 barrier on exit.   Cash payments must be made at Car Park P2 office before using Car Park P4 for viewing
