Four days a week from 25 October 2015

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has announced the return of direct flights to and from Glasgow as part of its 2015-16 Winter programme, operating four days a week and effective for travel between 25 October 2015 and 26 March 2016. One way fares are from £34.99 including taxes and charges.

Exeter Airport’s Managing Director, Matt Roach, said:  “Although we have continued to have connectivity to Glasgow via Flybe’s Manchester hub, the return of this direct route is very welcome.  Our passengers will enjoy a reduced travel time and this will further enhance the links between the South West and Scotland, which is good for both business and tourism.”

Further highlights of Flybe’s winter schedule from Exeter that features 13 routes in total, includes the return of popular ski routes to Chambery and Geneva, the re-timing of late afternoon flights from London City and the extension of its summer sun routes to Alicante and Malaga through to 1st November to accommodate half term travel.

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, comments: “We are committed to offering our customers a wider range of flights from their local airports so we are pleased to announce the return of our direct route to Glasgow. The diversity and added frequency to our winter programme demonstrates our commitment in providing unrivalled regional connections and onward seamless travel with codeshare partners to the rest of the world.”
