27 October 2025 Loganair, the UK’s leading regional airline, is celebrating the launch of its new Exeter–Manchester route, strengthening regional connectivity and offering customers seamless access to international travel via Manchester Airport.

The new service, which began yesterday [26 October], will operate frequently before transitioning to a daily schedule in March 2026.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said:
“Connecting the South West with the North West is a game-changer for regional travel and opens up global opportunities through our codeshare and interline agreements.
“We’re proud to be enhancing travel options for the local community and enabling business and leisure customers to reach a wider range of destinations.”
Stephen Wiltshire, managing director of Exeter Airport, said:
“Loganair’s new flights from Exeter Airport to Manchester restore an important link for the South West after a gap of more than five years and we’re delighted to see the new service underway.
“It significantly improves regional connectivity and gives passengers more choice for reaching the North West, while also building on the airline’s existing routes from Exeter to Newcastle and Edinburgh.”
With fares starting at £72 one-way, the route offers a practical and affordable alternative to long-distance rail travel. Passengers will also benefit from Loganair’s generous luggage allowance of 15kg hold luggage and 6kg cabin baggage, family-friendly policies, and award-winning customer service.
Earlier this year, Loganair was ranked second in the Which? annual customer survey of short-haul airlines, achieving a 72% customer score. The airline received a five-star rating for customer service and a four-star rating for booking, boarding, and cleanliness.
More recently, Loganair was named the most punctual for UK arrivals and departures in Q2 2025 by the UK Civil Aviation Authority, with 86% of its flights arriving and departing on time.
Those booking directly through Loganair’s website can also collect Avios through its Loganair Loyalty scheme thanks to the airline’s partnership with the global travel rewards programme.
Flights can be booked at www.loganair.co.uk or via local travel agents.
