Winter Ski Schedule is Extended

Flybe adds flights to Geneva through to April

Flybe has extended its winter ski route to Geneva from Exeter Airport to allow snow sports’ enthusiasts the chance to take full advantage of the off-peak season, with weekly flights continuing through to 15 April this year.

Tickets can be booked from £46.49 one way, including taxes and charges.

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, offers customers looking for some late fun in snow, direct access to some of the region’s most popular ski resorts from their local regional airport. They arrive in the Swiss capital just two hours after taking off, from where there is quick and convenient onward travel offered through its excellent transport connections.

West Country snow seekers also have the additional choice of Saturday flights to Chambery. The beautiful French city is renowned as the gateway to a number of Alpine ski resorts given its proximity to Mont Blanc, offering easy access to some of the finest slopes and facilities in the world. Weekly flights from Exeter operate through to 15 March 2017.

The Savoie Mont Blanc region features over 100 ski resorts, and 4,800 km of slopes offering a range of holidays for all abilities. It includes the world-famous Courchevel les Ménuires, Méribel and Val Thorens resorts which are just over 60 miles away from Chambery airport. With its breathtaking scenery, the city is located close to Lake Bourget and the region offers a wide choice of additional historic and cultural attractions.

The ski season at the many resorts close to both Geneva and Chambery continues into Spring, with many of the higher altitude destinations maintaining good snow coverage well into what is regarded as the ‘off-peak’ season, so offering significant savings when combined with Flybe’s affordable weekly flights.
