Loganair bolsters summer 2023 flight schedule from Exeter

Loganair bolsters summer 2023 flight schedule from Exeter

The UK’s largest regional airline, Loganair, is doubling services between Exeter Airport and Edinburgh as it responds to growing customer demand.

Tickets are on sale from today (Wednesday, 5 October) and the extra flights commence from Monday 19th June 2023.

Up from the six flights per week operated this summer, Loganair has increased frequency across its Exeter to Edinburgh route with passengers given increased flexibility through a double daily service Monday to Friday, as well as a daily weekend service, between the two cities.

With fares competitively priced from £79, passengers will now have access to an 08.20 departure from Exeter every Monday to Friday morning, arriving in Edinburgh at 09.45 for a full day of business or leisure before returning on the evening service, taking off from Edinburgh at 18.00 and arriving in Exeter at 19.25.

Stephen Wiltshire, managing director of Exeter Airport, said: “Edinburgh is a popular route from Exeter and this is great news for passengers. Loganair’s increased frequency means double daily flights on weekdays, which will appeal to business travellers in particular, giving them a full day in Edinburgh. And combined with the daily weekend service that means even more choice for leisure passengers too.”

Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Loganair has experienced its busiest summer ever this year, carrying a record number of customers across the UK and Europe and we expect Summer 2023 to be no different.

“We take great pride in facilitating growth in interconnectivity across the UK and by increasing our frequency on some of our key routes, we can better serve our customers.”

Reservations for Loganair’s newly launched summer 2023 schedule can be made at www.loganair.co.uk, or via travel agents and travel management companies using all major global distribution systems. All routes include a 15kg luggage allowance, and advance booking is encouraged.
