One of Exeter Airport’s car park team was a 2017 winner at the British Parking Awards ceremony held this month at the Lancaster London hotel overlooking Hyde Park.
The British Parking Awards, which were created and presented by Parking Review magazine, is an independent competition in its 16th year. The awards recognise the leading examples of car park management, enforcement, design and team work.
The winner of the Inspiration Award, sponsored by Advam, was Vanessa Fyles-Legg, a customer service assistant with APCOA at Exeter Airport. The award recognises an individual who is passionate about the business and has made a significant contribution.
Exeter Airport’s managing director Matt Roach commented after congratulating Vanessa at the airport: “Exeter Airport’s APCOA team has a role model employee in Vanessa. In her five years at the airport, whilst dealing with her own personal medical issues, she has conducted her duties in a bright and cheerful manner and has always provided professional customer service. Feedback from passengers is excellent and she is always willing to go the extra mile.”
