Exeter Airport has received an award for winning the Thomson Airways ‘Base of the Month’ for February.
The airline’s figures show that Exeter was the best ‘On Time Base’, for low volume, with a fantastic 100% of flights departing within 15 minutes of schedule.
The award, an OTP Clock, was presented by David Lawrence, Thomson Airways Head of Aircraft Operations.
Exeter Airport’s managing director Matt Roach said: “The efforts, from the Exeter Airport staff, that have gone in to achieving this performance during a month, with many its many challenges, have been recognised by the airline and I would like to pass on my congratulations all on this accolade.”
