Flybe has announced a new agreement with Emirates which will allow passengers departing from Exeter to use the ‘One Stop to the World’ codeshare for worldwide connectivity via Manchester.

The airlines are targeting a July launch for the new codeshare when travellers will be able to enjoy convenient connecting travel with Emirates when bookings are made via Emirates.com.

Emirates started flying in 1985 and now has a fleet of more than 230 aircraft, currently serving over 140 destinations in more than 80 countries around the world.

Paul Simmons, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “This new codeshare agreement with Emirates is yet another important milestone and an exciting development in the continued growth of Flybe. It allows us to give our UK customers a ‘One Stop to the World’ option with convenient, seamless access to Dubai and onwards to the rest of the world through our extensive regional route network, direct from passengers’ local airport.”

The agreement builds upon Flybe’s current portfolio of existing codeshare partnerships with Aer Lingus, Air France, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Finnair and KLM.
