Direct Glasgow flights are back and London City new return times

Direct Glasgow flights are back and London City new return times

Flybe started its new schedule at the weekend with the airline now offering 13 Exeter routes and up to 190 flights a week. It includes the return of direct flights from Exeter to Glasgow four days a week, and the convenient re-timing of the return early evening service from London City.

Other highlights of Flybe’s winter schedule from Exeter includes the return of popular ski routes to Chambery and Geneva and the extension of its 2015 summer sun routes to Alicante and Malaga through to 1st November to accommodate half term travel. In addition, Flybe will continue to offer up to three flights a day to its Manchester hub. .  From here, customers are increasingly taking advantage of the opportunity to by-pass congested London airports to make more convenient, seamless onward connections to the rest of the Flybe network and also to the rest of the world via Flybe’s codeshare partners.

Exeter Airport’s Managing Director, Matt Roach, said:  “The Glasgow direct route is very welcome as our passengers will enjoy a reduced travel time. This will also further enhance the links between the South West and Scotland, which is good for both business and tourism.”

“The change of the timing for the London City early evening return flight, which will now have passengers back in Exeter for 6:30pm is great news for most passengers.”

Winter seats are available for booking through to 26th March 2016 with one way fares from £24.99 including taxes and charges.
